Free Victorian Boy with Valentine Graphic

Such an angel with those curls! They don't make Valentine cards like this anymore. You have to make them yourself.

Free Victorian Boy and Girl Graphic

This is a nice little image for a Valentine card. Making cards is fun and quick. In the time it takes to go to the store and look over the cards on the rack, you could have made a fantastic keepsake card with your inkjet printer and some glue. No, don't put the glue in the printer!

I don't consider my husband to be very sentimental but he keeps every card that I make for him. You've probably seen a movie where there's a stack of letters all neatly tied up with a ribbon. Letters worth keeping that very few people write anymore since we have the convenience of email. If you are mailing cards, don't forget to decorate the envelope. Your art will be savored unlike any other piece of mail before carefully opened.

This little act of making cards for special people is truly a gift from the heart. Spread the love!

Manolo Shoe Graphic

You know Mr. Blahnik unless you've been living under a rock for the last 10 years. Who knew he had published a book of drawings? Imagine my excitement when I found the book in thrift. Obviously, this is not a public domain image but would be fabulous in a personal project.

Free Women

Of course, women aren't free just like free love isn't really free. This is a magazine illustration by Ethel Wright circa 1903. I'm not sure what is going on there but the cape is cool and the scroll she is holding is kind of obscure. As an art addict, I save everything even if the whole thing doesn't excite me, the parts might work in some random collage. Chop chop!

Free Valentine Greeting Card Graphic

If your significant other is the least bit sentimental chances are they will keep every single card that you make for them. I save old magazines and cut words from them and string them together which is a little more modern than vintage cards. But hey, it doesn't matter where the graphics come from as long as the words are from the heart.

Free Smith and Wesson 22 caliber gun graphic

Here's a Smith and Wesson .22 caliber Model no. 1 manufactured from February 1868 to 1879. The engraving is factory and the grip is ivory.

Free Colt 45 Revolver graphic

I'm not really into guns but I have a public domain book about guns because I find the workmanship interesting especially the pearl handled ones and the ones with fancy metalwork. This firearm is pretty plain but hey, it's a Colt 45 revolver and called the Peacemaker. This model was introduced in 1872 following expiration of the Smith and Wesson patent. I also find knives just as interesting but that's another story.
